MP TV Series hangs when searching for online series (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

Hope this is the right place in the forum to post this, apologies if not, could you move it to the correct place. I did a quick search and didn't see anything obviously similar to this.

My setup has been working flawlessly for several months now, I regularly add new media to my library without a hitch, however today I am trying to import some new episodes to MP TV Series.

I always rename my media using MediaRenamer before importing so that TV Series picks it up correctly and identifies things, this has worked as it should, now I am going through the usual process of importing using the plugins screen in MP configuration, and it gets stuck on 'Searching...' the online series. I have attached a screenshot of this. I have left it running for several hours now and it hasn't progressed any further, clicking custom search does not seem to do anything either. This is a larger import than normal but it never usually gets stuck at this point or slows down at all.

I am running MP 1.2.2.0 and MP TV Series 3.2.0.1909, no plugins have recently been added, updated or changed so I'm not sure what the problem is here.

Is this a problem with the online database or something on my system causing it? Let me know if you need any more information or logs.

Seems this has resolved itself by running a background import when MP was running. Haven't tried a manual import of any more new stuff yet so will let you know if it happens again.

Old post, but thanks for posting this, as I had the same problem, plugin seemed to hang when trying to search internet for information. So I cancelled the process, but when I opened Mediaportal, all those different series that I thought didn't work out appeared right where they should.
