I've begun to load my DVD libarary into the new HTPC. I started with my South Park seasons, using DVD Shrink to strip out menus and extra languages, ripping each disc under the 're-author' mode and putting them in their own directory named 'SOUTHPARK_SEASON_1_DISC_1' for example, or whatever the default was. I end up with an audio (empty) and video folder, with the episode themselves being a ~1GB .VOB file. I couldn't figure out how to parse them, so I did a manual import on each file, 1 disc at a time, telling MP TV Series which episode was which. They all appeared in My TV Series under Mediaportal, but there's a problem.
Each disc has 4 or 5 episodes on it. When I play the shows in MP, each disc's episodes all play the same one. Like, in disc 1, episodes 1-4 all play episode 1. If I select any episode from disc 2, they all play the first episode from disc 2. I checked in the MP TV Series configuration screen, and each episode does correctly list the source filename. The files do have the proper sizes and will play the correct episodes when I open them in WMP. I believe I must have somehow done the manual import wrong?
Any ideas please?
