Having received a few reports of the plugin not working in RC2 I began investigating today and sure enough it didn't show any of my series/settings or anything in MP or config initially. Since I was hinted at the fact that MP updated the SQLLite library I first suspected this to be the issue.

It seems things are much simplier and the plugin does indeed seem to work fine with RC2!

It appears the default MP paths have all moved out of the Program Files folder (which is actually for the better), and since the plugin respects MP's path with regards to where to put/look for its files this causes problems.

New MP directory for non static data seems to be:
    "%programdata%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\"

Note that this is on Vista, I can't test on XP at all in the next few days, so I'll need the community to report back on how things are in XP.

So either start from scratch or move your database, banners, fanart and language files there. This seems to work fine for me, but I've only tested for a bit.

Please test the plugin with RC2 and report back here even or especially if it works fine, or you didn't have to move things, so we know the next version is fully compatible with it.

Isn't that directory structure just in Vista? I started from scratch on an XP machine and "program data" is not created. I'm in the process of importing now...takes forever.

RC2 + tvseries svn seem to be working fine for me anyways, some small issues though:
    1. \n doesn't do line breaks, it only shows "\n" as text. The backslash is also present in text with apostrophes.
    2. Specials show as "Season 0", maybe it's supposed to? I think "Specials" is more right.
    3. Twin Peaks special movie "Fire Walk With Me" isn't shown in the end of season 2. link

With XP the directories are the same as before.

Hmm, perhaps, but it wasn't like that on Vista for me before I installed RC2 (not sure which version I had TBH). So it works fine in XP afterall?

    1. -> Bug...easy to fix
    2. -> Yeah, it used to work but evil Inker broke it some time ago with some reworking of some code....it was a dirty hack anyways when it worked, so time to do it right
    3. -> I know, special inlining isn't working correctly yet

What do you mean "The backslash is also present in text with apostrophes", are you refering to this?

1 & 2 are fixed, please advice on what you mean by "The backslash is also present in text with apostrophes."

Edit, nm...I know....should be fixed, please let me know

Yeah something like that, except the database is correct. Probably it's the same as the "\n" bug?

EDIT: Oh OK I'll test it! :)

EDIT2: Well the \n works now, and season 0 is specials. :) but there's a new bug: LINK

Hehe, OK. Found something else though. <Episode.PrettyLocalPlaytime> doesn't show hours. Just looks a bit weird when an episode is 2h 3min and it shows only 3 mins. :p
