Having received a few reports of the plugin not working in RC2 I began investigating today and sure enough it didn't show any of my series/settings or anything in MP or config initially. Since I was hinted at the fact that MP updated the SQLLite library I first suspected this to be the issue.
It seems things are much simplier and the plugin does indeed seem to work fine with RC2!
It appears the default MP paths have all moved out of the Program Files folder (which is actually for the better), and since the plugin respects MP's path with regards to where to put/look for its files this causes problems.
New MP directory for non static data seems to be:
"%programdata%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\"
Note that this is on Vista, I can't test on XP at all in the next few days, so I'll need the community to report back on how things are in XP.
So either start from scratch or move your database, banners, fanart and language files there. This seems to work fine for me, but I've only tested for a bit.
Please test the plugin with RC2 and report back here even or especially if it works fine, or you didn't have to move things, so we know the next version is fully compatible with it.
