    Hi all,

after recently setting up my dedicated server, I decided not to leave the server on all the time and to send him to suspend/hibernate.

I configured the wol setting in MP client incl. Mac adress.

But starting the client does unfortunately NOT wake up the server. The logs indicate that the wol funktion is trying to wake up the server, though, but nothing happens.
However it is possible to wake the server up by a wol-tool. So NIC is configured correctly (Magic Packet+Pattern Match).

    Hints, anyone?

    Cheers

You could try a network sniffing tool (like WireShark) to grab the packets sent using the wake-up tool and then using MP's own WOL function. Then maybe you (or someone else) can figure out what is wrong.

If you post your logs here, you might get some help.

What about the Power Scheduler settings on the server? I don't know the relation between that and WOL.
