[fixed] MP2 server won't start - ScimoreDB (1 Viewer)

MP2 server won't start (nothing happens when opening it). It seems like it have something to do with ScimoreDB. Do i have to install that ScimoreDB thing too?

Haven't found anything about it in wiki.

Delete the MediaPortal/Bin folder and compile it again. Alternatively, you can delete only the ScimoreDB plugin folder in the output directory.

After deleting, got another error. About ISQLDatabase.

Is that just me or anyone else have similar problems?

Did you do an SVN update? You should not reconfigure the solution, i.e. don't build projects for that the build is switched off. Try deleting the complete Bin folder (which is located next to the Source folder) in the MediaPortal directory and then, do a rebuild.
If nothing helps, do a clean checkout and build it again.

Your log shows that the FirebirdPlugin loaded successfully and then, a second database plugin tries to register its database service. That is the reason why I said you should clean up the Bin folder. During the rebuild, all needed plugins are built again.

This is how i done it:

1. Update trunk
2. delete bin folder
3. compile MP via included files (MSBUILD_Rebuild_Release_Client.bat, MSBUILD_Rebuild_Release_Server.bat)

I will now delete trunk and check it out again to see if it helps.

2. delete bin folder

The important part is that you delete the right "Bin" folder, which is located next to the "Source" folder. Don't just delete one of the "bin" folders in some of the sub projects.

Same error after completely deleting whole trunk folder

P.S.: ISQLDatabase happens only after manually deleting ScimoreDB plugin. If not, it showes ScimoreDB error.

Ah, the problem could be that you're using the release configuration. I think I haven't configured the databases in the release config yet. Try to use the debug configuration, that should compile. I'll fix the release config tonight.
