I've got MP 1.0 installed on a machine and it plays back mp3s and m4as just fine, but any audio files in the mp4 format (which is the same as m4a and aac just in a different wrapper) won't play in mediaportal. I have the orban AAC codec installed and have associated the mp4 extension with windows media player, so if I open the folder where the mp4 file is located and just hit open it launches WMP and it plays just fine. However, if I try to play it within MP, I get nothing. It just hangs. Also installed the latest BASS aac plugin and still no dice. Any ideas? External player?
