MPC-HC question

I know MPC_HC is included with 1.1, but i was wandering if it was possible to make the changes in the attached article to utilize better GPU acceleration of NVidia cards with COREAVC 2. IS using Core AVC 2 necessary? If i cannot plug this into MPC-HC as it is can i configure MPC-HC and then add it as a semaless external player?

I don't really understand why no one wil answer my questions in these forums. I love the MP1.1RC front end, but will not be able to use it if i do not get some help installing it. I currently have Media Browser setup in WMC using MPCHC as a semaless player so thai can take dvantage of external filters like CoreAVC 2. I believe the latest release of mPCHC is included with MP1.1RC, so i would assume that the same could be done with mP. IS this true?

Where, I don't have it, afaik only if you download and install yourself

Well you will not get CUDA with above card, as CUDA is Nvidia, but that does not mean no DXVA with CoreAVC.

You can set any of the above codecs and more to be used by MP's internal player if you wish.

I must have misread somewhere in another post about MPCHc being included. Perhaps it is just the codec from MPC. I guess I was wrong. Thank you for the link to the other forum thread. This is the kind of help i was hoping to find. I currently have a 4670, but I should have a gt240 sometime tommorrow. Do you have any experience with MadVR. Supposedly it does a wonderful job as a post processor, but from what i hear, the support has been dropped for any further development. Is this still a good post processing choice or will custom EVR give similar results if Cuda is used in conjunction with CoreAVC 2. Thank you again for responding. Any links to postprocessing discussions other than on Doom forums.
