    Great work!

So just to be clear would this allow *.sup bitmap subtitles to be displayed that are muxed into mkvs?

    Hi,

Good question :) do you have a sample to provide ?
I was thinking that .sup is external only but i'm surely wrong.
    Regards,
    Seb.

I do at home, I will test tonight and report back. Do I just need the binary above or do I need to compile the patch into MP? (or both?)

Latest MPC-HC seems to play them correctly so hopefully it will work

For testing :) just the .dll is enough :)
The patch it's if you compile yourself :)

Yep I can confirm they work with this patch. Thanks for this!

Only small thing is the language is'nt displayed in the subtitle menu for these embedded *.sup tracks (language is shown for embedded text *.srt tracks). It says "HDMV Embedded Subtitles" for each track instead of the language.

I suppose that if mkv has made with this name (HDMV Embedded Subtitles) it's normal :)
For sure a sample would be great :)
