Actually the development has stopped a while ago because Google decided to change the whole communication process with a new SDK version. Currently, the only working app is YouTube which is still working with the old SDK version and hence this implementation. Can't say how long this will continue to work.

To my knowledge, there is currently no working Chromecast emulator I could base my work on. The main concern seems to be in the newly used encryption and certificates that can only be signed by Google.

Sorry for the bad news, but I still am disappointed myself :-/

Hey guys,
Just found this thread, and was quite excited, downloaded it, but am I right in saying that this is just another thing that doesn't work any more with MP ?

Yes because Chromecast changed their API... as far as I know there is no software anymore which can do this..
