Looks like someone managed to inject an invalid URL into the MPEI online update - it's www. sohu .com.

Also there are a couple of sites which are extremely slow to respond - namely the http://patschka.homeserver.com/ ones

The invalid URL causes the MPEI to lock and needs to 'end task' to kill it.

Well if MPEI really allows this it can happen again and should be fixed in MPEI. Also other possible security issues should be reviewed.

    AW: MPEI error (Invalid URL)

grmpfl...until the author of the plugin-updater provides a new version I added a temp. fix yesterday which
    -checks for proper data
-only allows links to our own repository, Github, Sourceforge and Googlecode
-puts all new uploads on hold until someone from the team confirms it

Patschka-plugin (Sconi) was removed as the update-file is down

If there are any problems during upload aso, please contact me directly via PM.

Thanks High - how do we get the update, or is it in the background bit??

no need to update, its just affecting the submit-file in backend
