Hi, I have some vob files which I have renamed as mpg as per many suggestions to enable the MP internal player to recognize them. The movie playtime is correct in the movie details but when I play the movie and press fastforward the display shows 00:12 to 00:01 and takes about 4-5s to fastforward the whole lot (because it is not seeing the whole movie) and I can only fast forward within a short section of the movie (about 5 moinuates worth). The file as a vob and mpg works fine in VLC which correctly shows the movie play length and current position. This is the same with both Moving Pictures and My Videos within Media Portal. The file is around 4GB, and VLC can see the whole thing. Does anyone know why this is ? I have 1 movie which plays / displays correctly, but only 1. Many thanks. GoMad.
