Hello all,

I have gotten MP up and running again, despite the ATI HDTV Wonder card.

I am having audio problems leading to the above error msg. Symptoms are no audio, span audio, eng on one speaker and spannish on the other???l L+R(that was really weird) followed by a crash of MP 1.0.2. Everything else seems to be working at the moment wx, radio, video etc... I forgot, one TV channel has only audio on one speaker.

To summarize, problems with audio on three OTA channels to varying degrees.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    Hi,
thanks for writing back. do you want me to start a new thread with the logs or post them here?

    thanks

Enclosed the log files, if you like I will post under either codecs or configuration? please let me know. During the first log MP froze and on the second log there was the MPSA.AX crash. These are all audio related while watching TV. I have a suspicion that there is a codec and or decoder problem.

    thank you

Can anyone help me with adjusting/selecting audio streams from a TV ATSC broadcast? I know where to do it, but not sure what parameters need changing. ie. some stations may broadcast bilingual streams. What parameter would I use to select another stream?

I am wondering in my troubleshooting if this is part of my problem. I have notice a SAP on some of the problem channels also an occasional Spanish broadcast on another.

    Thanks

found the problem, the channel scan was locking on the wrong AC3 pid stream. once I manually changed the AC3 pid streams, the problem was solved. Why is the wrong stream is being selected?
