Im running my Mediaportal ver. 1.0.2 on my home HTPC as a server and client. Also running clients on my other Home PC's.
My HTPC has a quad core intel CPU 2,4 GHz with 4 GB memory. I was wondering if the server part (including MS Sql) should or could be locked to one or 2 CPU's, leaving the other 2 or 3 CPU's for Client and other stuff.
The reason I'm asking is because my second DVB S2 card seems to lock up, and I was hoping that maybe locking the server to one or more CPU's might help
