Hi 5Hundred, Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry, should have mentioned that in the log the Shortland St recording last night worked OK - this was the one I scheduled after letting the machine sleep for 5 minutes, so look further down the logs to see failings. Just now I tested to see if the machine would record after sleeping for 30 minutes and it started MP from sleep OK, but nothing recorded. The recording was definately scheduled in MP under "Scheduled". I'm wondering if TVS was not running? Interesting the MPStandbyHandler log has nothing in it - see below. 29/11/2008 8:23:19 a.m. :: Info :: MPstandbyHandlerUser version 2.0.0.2 29/11/2008 8:23:19 a.m. :: Info :: RemoteServer - Started server on port 15677 29/11/2008 8:23:19 a.m. :: Info :: RemoteServer - Waiting for client connection I will set the machine in Powerscheduler to 15 minutes as suggested and see what happens. I'm also aware of the stay awake times you mention and was going to start using this once the sleep issue is worked out. Will set a recording for today and let you know how it goes. Cheers Graham
