Hi Paranoid Delusion,I recorded 2 out of the 3 shows OK by leaving my machine on the desktop and eliminating the Start / Stop of MP. Thanks for the additional note 5 hundred. I happened to select 2 test recordings with exactly the same name at different times, so I'm not sure if that stuffed it up or not.I'm thinking tonight to just leave MPStandbyHandler right out of the equation and just use Powerscheduler to do it's stuff as you had sucess with this Paranoid Delution in RC4.Will give it a crack and let you know. If it doesn't work, I will try MPStandbyHandler with the same settings. I also notice a "Hardware Start / Stop" options - have you tried any of these?Final question, why would the MP Home screen cause issues?CheersGraham
