Hi Graham, thanks for the log, quite revealing. There is an error reported with the code, 0x8007001F, looking at the MS website this brings up The Error (0x8007001F) Is Generated When You Use Certain Video Capture Cards A device attached to the system is not functioning (0x8007001F) Looking at the log we can see from just before 7pm and then onwards the system repeatedly tries to start the recording but cant because of the above error. I would tentatively suggest that the card is somehow not being properly woken up after a standby. This is why the stopping and then starting of the Tvservice has worked for you in the past as most likely that has restarted the card in someway allowing the TVservice to successfully use it. So i imagine that you will have to try to get MPSH working with your setup as that has the ability to restart the TVservice after standby. I'm sure it doesn't help that your Powerscheduler settings are so "tight" as well, i.e. there appears to be very little pre wake up time allocated and also you have your system shutting down after being awake for 60 seconds. These settings can be changed within the Powerscheduler configuration screens of both MP and TVserver. I use a "enter standby if idle for 15 mins", check every 300 secs and pre wake up time of 5 mins. The last one is particularly important as i feel this gives the system enough time to settle down before beginning a recording. With yours it looks as if the computer wakes up and the recording should have already begun. I'm sure this has caused issues on mine in the past. So in short, MPSH to restart TVservice after standby is probably required, expand your powerscheduler time settings to allow a bit more time for the computer to wake up and stay awake.
