MPTestTool2 crash, unhandled exception. (1 Viewer)

The error while trying to collect logs is..

'Unable to translate Unicode character \uDCF9 at index 598 too specified code page.'

Vista32 sp1

With previous builds i have never seen this error, any hints at what may be wrong.

works fine here on my vista notebook.

I found where the problem occured when the test tool attempted to get the system information logs .

Cleaning this again and running the test tool worked fine but the logs I required were now obviously gone .

Have to put this down to an extreme oddity which probably will not happen again.


EDIT

Ran the test tool again and when completed NO logs for the TVSERVER were collected even though the logs exist in the correct folder.

i notied someone else with VISTA having a similar bug collection problem

MPTestTool now adding TVServer logs to the rar'ed file, so looking fine here with Vista 32
