MSI Mega mPC 915 problem (1 Viewer)

I have a problem with my media center pc. I have a MSI Mega mPC 915
media center pc with a front LCD display. It uses MSI's System Control
Manager to activate the LCD but only if I use Windows Media Center. I
realy tried everything possible to get it to work with Media Portal ,
but no luck at all. The documentation for the pc also says that the
front Lcd will ONLY work if MCE is started. I've been using Media
Portal for a very long time now on another pc and would realy like to
continue to use it. I realy hope that somebody can help me with this problem.
I've been searching the web all over but can't find a solution at all.

Hi,

I can't help you, but not being able to use the LCD does not stop you using MediaPortal. I rarely look at the LCD on my HTPC since it is too far away to read.

I know, I'm using it currently, but I'm the kind of person that like things to work 100% and I know that this will frustrate me forever 'cause I know the LCD is there but it's not working. I realy hope someone out there had a similar problem and got it solved somehow.
