Msn Messenger Wont Connect.... (1 Viewer)

Hey,
I just love media portal but i seem to have just 1 problem, (which makes me always go back to media center because of this problem)

I enable the MSN MESSENGER plugin and set my login details up CORRECTLY! and yet everytime i go to use it i get a error saying Could not connect. Now the system is a P4 1.6 with 512 ram and wireless. Now my 3.2ghz desktop pc seems to connect fine, but i use this machine as a desktop PC. I am really stumped as to why its not connecting and would absolutley love it if i could connect.

update...

I have disabled the firewall and this didn't work. Its not my router because My other machine works fine. I'll run an ethernet cable to it and see if its something 2 do with my wireless (i doubt) and find out. Thanks

Im having the same problem with my laptop - celeron m 410 @ 1.46, 1280mb ram. its annoying having to flip in and out of media portal to go to msn, as media portal freezes when "alt enter" it to windowed. thanks.

Goes nuts for me also! get wont connect messages, but its connected!
