Monday is a bad day for duplicate recordings. Repeatably, the programmes 'Border Security' 7.30 'Piha Rescue' 8.00, 'Spooks' 8.30, 'Special Investigators' 9.35 are all recorded twice (but sometimes only in part). An earlier programme 'Shortland Street' at 7.00 is not duplicated. The distinguishing thing about Monday is that there are a number of back-to-back recordings. Pre-recording is set to 1min, post to 10min. I have 2 x Skystar II cards. All NZ Freeview channels are on one of 2 transponders, so from my 2 cards I should be able to record/view any combination. (Indeed, the programmes do record, but excessively so!). Tuesday, I got 19 copies of one programme, until the disk filled. If I start the client on the same machine, and view 'streams' it only shows the TV channel I last watched, plus 1 stream for the 19 recording sessions going on.

MP is just about unusable in this state; can someone please help?

I have a similar problem. All my shows record about 6 times in the same session, all a few minutes each.
Dual tuner system - what gives?

Please update to lastest SVN - this should have been fixed by now.

Regrettably not fixed in TV3 + MP 16281. I haven't tried anything newer yet. What does seem to be fixed is the 'infinite length' recordings, and the number of copies now never exceeds 2. I think the problem may relate to schedules set to 'every time on this channel'. Looking at the code, the check for recording-already-in-progress precedes the point where a 'one off' recording is introduced to satisfy the 'every time' condition. I am still trying to confine the problem before reporting further. (And I must read the latest releases to see if the developers got there first!)

Loaded 16362 when it appeared, and waited until Mon/Tue which is when duplicate failures appear.
It's fixed! Thanks very much! :D
