    Hi,
I have two networks connected to each their NIC.
My IP-TV is a private network, and is connected to my wired network.
My interent connection is a different network, and is connected to wifi.
Now, i would like mediaportal to use the wired network for IP-TV channels, and the wifi for EPG data and everything else.
But i cant figure out how to do this.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
It seems like i can only get one network to work, at a time.
I can run both networks together, but all data goes on one network (whichever i gives the lowest metric value).

    Hi,

you didn't describe on which protocol(s) is based your IPTV. It can be UDP, RTP, HTTP etc. Could you describe your IPTV more?

    Hi,
    It is UDP streams.
I solved this, by setting the metric values manually, on each NIC. The Internet NIC was then set to the lowest metric value, causing all traffic to default to that NIC.
I then created a static route, for the subnet my IP-TV is on, for the other NIC.

Should I run into a website that shares an IP with that subnet, I will of course have a problem, but so far, this has not happened.

    Hi,

I'm happy that you solved this problem, I've solved this problem in another way (script which change route table).
