Hulu Desktop plugin After several days of trying to make MultiShortcut work reliably, I finally gave up and created my own plugin to load and execute HuluDesktop from MediaPortal. Attached is the Hulu Desktop plugin. It's a simplified version of MultiShortCut made specific for HuluDesktop. This version is designed for Win/XP and uses the hover_remote.png icon; it probably will not work on Win/7 or Vista if HuluDesktop is installed somewhere other than where XP puts it. The source code is in the attached file HuluPluginSource.zip in case anyone wants to try and fix it for other versions of Windows. Simply unzip Hulu.zip and copy the Hulu.dll file into the directory named: C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows Then run MediaPortal Configuration. There is no configuration needed other than to choose between the Home or PlugIns menu (default is Home) and to choose between Enabled or Disabled (default is Enabled). Even if you have more than one version of HuluDesktop installed (which happens whenever you update it to the latest release), the plugin will automatically locate the most recent version and run it. In other words, you can enable automatic updates of HuluDesktop and everything will be OK! Enjoy. Dan
