Yes, it is recommended first to do a LRC search followed by a search for plain lyrics. I have had other approaches in the past but the searches either took up to long time or were too complex for the basic users to relate to. So I ended up with a lyric, a LRC and a custom mode which I don't want to mix up once again. I'm quite happy with the current setup and options. I have no stats for the MiniLyric database but I am sure that it collect more lyrics and LRC files that MyLyrics. MyLyrics uses instant online lyric searches while the LRCs is scrapped from various sources on the Internet and stored in a database that a friendly and committed MP user hosts. BennieBoy did a fantastic job enabling LRC support for the MP community. He has now collected about 40.000 LRC files where the majority is Asian and about 12.800 is English, French and German lyrics. Hereto has 780 LRC been created by the MP community. I believe that MyLyrics is quite even with MiniLyrics in finding plain lyrics but due to a bigger audience I'm sure that its community have contributed with more LRCs to MiniLyric than MP users have done to LRCFinder. You are more than welcome to send me example of lyrics and LRCs found in MiniLyrics that aren't found by MyLyrics. Then I will have a look. You could also write the MiniLyrics devs and kindly ask if their database is open. I doubt it, but if possible, then I would gladly hook it up. Like BennieBoy did, you can make MP and MyLyrics better. Either by joining the development, become a tester or even just by creating LRCs within MyLyrics and upload them to LRCFinder. regards
