Hello,

I've just been linked to this awesome software and i'm starting to loving it!!

There is, however, somthing I do not understand, and you may help me with it.

I put all my media stuff on an external harddrive (after many accidental C: formatting...)

The MP recognizes my Pictures on this external hardrive, however, i can not set the music . it goes back to the default C/ my docs/my Music...blahblah

is there a way to make the software look for my music on my external HD?

You can always just specify the folder/folders you want to use for Music in the configuration app. I have never used the automatic scan, myself.

Yeh that's what i did. it works for th epictures and retrieves those on my external harddrive but when I do that for the music it goes back to the default folder...;that's why I'm asking the question.

Ok i found it, i had to modify two options in the music section, i had forgotten the Library section
