Music Videos (USA Only) (1 Viewer)

Yahoo Usa has changed to a new Beta release Music videos and the .asp urls no longer work. All other countries still work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

That would explain the problems described in another topic. (videos not showing, only music, or nothing at all).
I've reverted to MP's previous version because of this. I'll do a test installing MP's latest stable version and choosing another default country than USA (don't remember if I bothered to change it when I encountered the problem).

I've been looking at the music videos plugin lately, started with the playlist not working for me. So I fixed that since noone replied to my bug report

Only just briefly looked at the US site changes, it seems a new regular expression for the US site would do the trick really.

I'll get back to you on that

Thank you for your interest, I hope this problem can be resolved. Most of my favorites can be found on alternate country settings. I Just don't want to see this fantastic feature die if Yahoo makes changes to its site. As an aside has anyone thought about a plugin for VH1.com Vspot or MTV/MuchMusic The feature kinda works on XP MCE.

I've fixed the issue with US Music Videos, their change actually made it easier to grab the info

I already posted the previously mentioned "fix" for the playlist, with no response yet though, I'll try to forward this fix aswell.

I might look into other sites, that would be as a seperate plugin though. I just wouldn't know which to begin with

I'm not familiar with yahoo launch, but from what I've just read it's similar to last.fm which I use for that kind of thing is it not?

If so it wouldn't really be compatible with this plugin. A new plugin would be required, also because it's a whole different "type" and I reckon you should keep plugins as narrow as possible, to be easy to maintain
