Does it happen every time?Yup I can take a look at this soon.For now There is an option under the AniDB menu to rename a group/series. It will show you a list of romaji, english and synonyms to choose from.I also have an issue on the list to force the plugin to change how groups/series are displayed i.e.<ol>
<li data-xf-list-type="ol">Always use underlying AniDB Romaji name</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ol">Always use underlying AniDB English name</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ol">Always use underlying Manually specified name</li>
