If you switch to text mode, it's currently impossible to go back to T9 mode with the remote only (or you should map a remote key to ctrl+m).I originally planned to use the # key to switch search modes (if the current search text is empty), but I thought it would be strange to use that key in text mode too: if somebody hit it by accident, they would suddenly switch modes ... so I decided against it.</blockquote>
