The IMON driver/software package is fairly pathetic, but that's what I'm stuck with right now. Even when it's changed to use an MCE remote, the IMON software ALWAYS sends a backspace character to MediaPortal to "go back", instead of using the default Escape character. This means I have had to use some hacky workarounds to get MediaPortal to use backspace in addition to Escape in order to go back a screen. This doesn't quite work for MyAnime2 because sending backspace will automatically bring up the Find dialog. Rather than disabling it, it would also be fine if the Find dialog doesn't pop up when backspace is the first character being sent. Please consider this in a future release
Find timeout = 0 is very very bad In a somewhat unrelated note, I found that setting the timeout for the Find popup to "0" can be an extremely bad thing. MyAnime2 will refuse to run afterwards and even the plugin config screen will fail to load. Fortunately, I hunted down the setting in MediaPortal.xml and changed it back to "1". The UI should probably prevent users from setting it to an invalid value :o However, the reason why I tried setting it to "0" is because I'm wondering if it's possible to disable the Find feature.
