My burner problem (1 Viewer)

Apologies if this has ben covered elsewhere but I am a new user of MP. When I try to burn a DVD of a recorded prog My Burner does not see the file. I know I am looking in the correct folder but there is nothing there to burn!
Have configured My Burner correctly.
I am obviously missing something. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

What file type is the file? MyBurner only supports MPEG and AVI files, you will first have to convert the file from the DVRMS to MPEG using the Compress function in MyTv

Hi egon,

nice to see you back. Did you have a look to the myBurner-Thread in the general-section of watch/edit-Video? Would be great if you could solve this problem. I found some hints on the internet. Maybe they can help to get rid of this issue.

Egon, you are obviously right about having to transcode to mpeg 2 for dvd burning. I had not realised the recorded tv files were dvrms format. But, where is the compress function? Can't find it in my plug in selection or is it within my tv, how can I use it?

CD/DVD burner

Hi,

I've posted earlier in general posting about this. Try here again.

Currently I have 3 machines running MP and all have the same problem.
1. Regular 0.2.2.0 stable version. (Modified MP3 skin)
2. 0.2.2.0 stable version with some updates (MP3 skin)
3. 0.2.2.0 stable + latest SVN version (blue two – default skin)

Do I have a huge brain-fart? Or is something really wrong.

Before I moved to 0.2.2.0 the burner plug-in has worked on all 3 machines.

The burner plug-in is running and I can actually select files.
Conversion from mp3 to wav works fine too. (And are created in Temp folder)
But at the point of burning, MP crashes and quits.

Nothing has been burned.

Any hints?
