My computer restarts (1 Viewer)

I have a Hauppauge DVB card (The USB box (not the stick) that comes with a remote), - but when I am using it my computer restarts now and then.

It's not really because of Team Mediaportal because the same thing happends with the software tham came along the card.

But perhaps any of you have an idea what I can do to fix it.

My computer did not restart before and it seems like it's only doing this when the card is active, - i.e. I am recording or viewing something.

I am running XP on a Zepto laptop. It has a Intel Centrino processor and 512 MB of memory.

You may be overheating?
Try to run a "Burn-In" test on your CPU and see if it restarts. Grab a utility that monitors fan speeds and tempratures.
