Well, I first had to buy the HTPC case, te be 100% about it's dimensions. I already measured all other components. I drew them and 3D and designed the cabinet arount the components. Because of the double silding door I sourced the extra long and strong sliders for the turntable. Behind the right door the right door you will find the Marantz gear and ampswitch. And the headphone stax unit too. Left of that there was room left for 2 big drawers to store manuals, headphones and DVD's. The design of the cabinet + sourcing material took me several evenings, in fact I don't have a clue. Because I debated about the design a few times and altered it several times. In the left halve you find the remote control unit rack which has space for 6 remotes (no remote pile anymore:P). Next to that you see the HTPC with on top of that the Denon 5.1 reciever. Vertical mounted is the Creative Emu for the digital to analog signal converter. Whats left are the turntable and the cassette deck. The cabinet alone weighs over 150kg ;) Since I don't have the tooling, nor the space to build it myself we had somebody build and paint it (high gloss, same as kitchen). He needed a lot of time too. And the install of the HTPC is still going, I have a lot of trouble with the TV recording function (DVB-C Ziggo, the Netherlands). Over here the system works with a smartcard. And sometimes the decoder program (newCS 1.65) won't start up properly. So I have to see how I can solve that issue. And just finished installing the bluray software (to playback blurays, like David Foster: Hitman Returns).
