How about a little more explination as to what we are seeing here?

What are the up and down arrows on the time for? (the green but)

What are the red lines in the time line for?

sorry for the very small explanation... first this just a fake made with photoshop to show what is my dream of mediaportal's timeshifting. And second, you can have little more explanation on this post here --> My Dream... a perfect TimeShifting... - MediaPortal Forum

the green line represent the buffer of timeshifting and red part represent the show to keep recorded (may be a futur function of MP like we speak about in this post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ecord-timeshift-buffer-well-57471/#post402911 )

up & down arrow (represent remote arrow) are used to jump between show in the buffer (function of EPG informations or channel changing). And left & right arrow are used to jump to rewind or forward by time step.
