Synopsis:

If I use the Default MP Skin (BlueTwo), MyDVDs Plugin stops working, if I change it to the MCE skin it works OK!

When using the BlueTwo skin you move to the option and click ok to select it and nothing happens.

When using the MCE skin you move to the option and click ok to select it and MyDVDs plugin works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards.

Hi

I am not trying to play dvd's. I have the MyDVDs plugin which lists my DVD collection, it is that which does not work when I use the BlueTwo Skin. It works correctly with the MCE skin. I have not tried the other skins as they do not interest me.

I am able to complete all operations perfectly except when selecting the BlueTwo skin the MyDVDs plugin will not activate. As I have previously stated.

Regards!

Hi

I hate to see post just left dead so I though I would fill you in on the problem with MyDVDs and the default Bluetwo skin.

Yesturday I did a fresh install of the PC I use for Portal. I then installed Media Portal, and then the MyDVDs plugin. I imported my DVD database from DVDProfiler and tested it.

MyDVDs definatly does not work with the BlueTwo skin so if you have the problem and fix it then let me know.

MyDVDs does however work perfectly with the MCE skin so you can always select that to get around the issue.

If you know different then please feel free to put me right!!!

As for now.. Thanks for all posters and consider this post closed!

maybe if you copy a file called mydvd.xml from mce skin folder to blue2 skin folder, it will work again (not sure if there is one).

I am no pro on skin or xml, so you better back mp up before trying. ;)
but if it is a general problem with blue2 it needs to get fixed.

    Your a very clever fellow!!!

Your right and it worked. However 3 files needed to be copied for anyone else having this problem:

    mydvds.xml
    mydvdsfilter.xml
    mydvdsinfo.xml

Obviously you need to copy these manually to the other skins you want to use the plugin with.

Thanks for your help! Your a very, very nice "person"
