hello,

have been reading for 2 weeks here now and just wanted to let you know what I'm working on:

Silverstone LC11S case
Asus P4R800-VM mainboard
Pentium 4 2.8GHz CPU
1Gb RAM (Dual Channel)
120Gb Western Digital
Plextor PX-708A DVD ReWriter
NVidia Quadro4 550XGL (Dual VGA)
Hauppauge PVR 350

combined with a Sharp PG10B-S beamer projecting 1280x720 on a 160x90cm homemade screen.
JVC 7022 5.1 receiver (6x 100 watt)
Magnat speakers: 2x Monitor 880, 2x Monitor 220, 1x Monitor 210

Does anyone know where I can buy a MCE keyboard including receiver cheaply in the Netherlands and is someone working on a "real" e-mail module?

Greetings,

Wielke

    Hi Wielke,

AFAIK you cannot buy the MCE keyboard together with the IR receiver? However, if you buy the OEM version of both, it'll only cost about 30 euros for the remote and around 50 euros for the keyboard. Not that expensive, IMHO. See here for an example online shop. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, BTW. There might even be other shops which have both products at a lower price?

    Kind regards,
    Michel

I know you did not ask for hardware selection, but I would just warn you about western digital. I makes noise. At least my 80 gb disk made a lot of noise, and I think they stil do.

    I would recomand seagate.

thanx for your replies but indeed...I am not looking for advice on selecting a new harddisk
I have this disk around so I am gonna use it...already spent about a thousand on all this stuff.

    Greetings!

a change is on its way...
instead of the LC11 I'm going to use a LC02 as I already have a suitable DVD-ReWriter for it and cause it is quite a hassle to obtain a LC11 for a nice price at the moment.
Further I am going to use a MSI FX5200 GFX board as it uses no cooler and it puts me in the position to connect both my TV (S-Video) as well as my beamer (VGA).
