    Do post some pics...

I like the Silverstone cases, too. I don't have one yet, but will likely go that direction when I do a rebuild at some point.

I must caution against using these "green" HDDs for HTPCs. To reduce power usage they will occasionally go into a slower-performance (low RPM) state. This can cause problems with recording or time-shifting live TV, since that requires a large amount of data transfer on the fly. But if you're not using your HTPC for TV then there shouldn't be a problem.

Personally I use a WD Caviar Black and it can time-shift a 1080i channel while simultaneously recording a second 1080i channel and the drive barely breaks a sweat.

    Hi.
I must caution against using these "green" HDDs for HTPCs.
Green HDD are fast enough to do lots of recordings at the same time. (lately I had 5 HD recordings simultaneous on an older WD Caviar Green 500 GB HDD). The buffering is good enough. And with 8GB of RAM timeshift should go to a RAM Disk (as this is much more critical regarding timing) so this is on the fastest drive you can imagine...

    MEMORY: 8GB (2x4GB) Crosair DDR3 XMS3 PC3-12800(1600)
BTW I did have exact the same RAM with the same amount in my TV Server...

POWER: 500W Crosair CMX Hybrid Modular 80Plus Bronze, SLI/CrossFire
Also AMD CPU in average need more power than Intel CPU, there is no need at all for such a monster of Power Supply.
No HTPC needs more than a 300 Watt PS. An Average 300 Watt 80+ is better (more efficient) than an 500 Watt 80+ Silver if Power consumption is lower than 100 Watt.
An PicoPSU would be enough, but depends a lot on the quality of the power adapter you use. Best will be an 200 Watt 80+ PS like XILENCE SFX Series, 200 Watt 3.21 80PLUS or Fortron FSP200-50GSV 200 Watt 80+ Bronze. Both are SFX form factor but can be used with an adapter plate like a normal ATX PS.
