This version should fix the dumps and unfinished searches - and other child diseases arised by the new generation of the MyLyrics plugin.

Please report any dumps, errors and suggestions to improvements releated to version 0.22 in this thread.

Changes from version 0.21 to 0.22
- Fix: A ressource that was closed too soon resulted in dumps at various times
- Fix: Unanswered web-requests resulted in searches stalling and high cpu usage.
- Fix: minor changes to the batch search stats
- Add: Better support for the ReVision skin

I have just installed v0.22 into MediaPortal SVN 14533 (05/05/2007) using Blue Two Wide skin, and noticed that the "myLyrics.xml" page does not display the album art - the image that is displayed in the album art window (on the right hand side of the screen) is the file "missing_coverart.png".

I thought that this might be because I have Music Thumbs creation turned off (in MediaPortal setup), but selecting the option to create music thumbs for album art made no difference. I have verified that the file "folder.jpg" exists in the folder containg the music played and that the relevent thumbs have been created in the Thumbs/Music/folder folder ....

Is there something else that I need to change ...

1.)
I've got a problem when I want to search or update a lyric.
It starts the search and I've got only an answer from LyricWiki (yes or no).
I use standard configuration LyricWiki, LyricsOnDemand, Lyrics 007, Hot Lyrics.
The same with "Lyrics Database" and "Marked Database".

2.)
I've have the same problem than Taipan, no display of album thumbs.

3.)
When I boot the computer, the first time I enter in My Lyrics, the window is in wide mode. After I can quit My Lyrics, close MP, when I return in My Lyrics the window is standard, it's ok. Just after the boot I've got this problem.

Config:
MP 0.2.2 without SVN
My Lyrics 0.22

Hi, sorry for my late reply, but I have undergone a knee surgery.

Do you have the same problem on the NowPlaying page or is it just on the MyLyrics screen?
I have just reused some code from the code-behind page of NowPlaying, so it is likely that the error is caused by the MyMusic core not loading the cover art correctly. In some way it is related to the code from MyMusic, and it will be worked out when the plugin will be integrated into MyMusic (cannot say when that will happen). It works great on my setup and two other systems that I have tried. It might be SVN-version related.

Hi Cedric.
1) I look into this further, when I'm up on my feet again (just undergone knee surgery).
2) See above
3) The screen changes automatical after the lyric related to the currently song played. For instance, if a line in a lyric is longer than 50 character (or something, cannot really remember the chosen number) wide mode is selected, if no line longer than 50 chars, the the basic mode is selected. You can manual change the mode by pressing the 'W'-key or '#'-button a MCE remote.

The "Now Playing" page works fine - the cover art is only missing from the Lyrics screen. The cover art has always been displayed in previous releases of My Lyrics, it is only this latest release that the cover art is not displayed. I notice that the progress bar now works correctly, though.

Also, this bug may be related to this problem? When I leave the "Now Playing" screen, the cover art is still displayed over the top of other screens. But, when I enter the Lyrics screen, the cover art disappears.

It might be SVN-version related.

Now it's ok for the thumbs, I have reinstall MP and lost all the xml files. I just have to wait that MP reload the thumbs.

I use SVN 14590 (13.05.2007) and Revision 1.08 (with HotFix) and cannot confirm any of the problems above.

Album art is displayed correctly and all other features (as far as I tested) work fine.

I have done some more testing on the issue of the "missing coverart", and it seems to be related to the existence (or absence) of album thumbs in the Thumbs\Music\Albums folder.

If I leave the option (in MediaPortal Setup -> Music Database) "Use folder.jpg to create thumbs" selected so that coverart thumbs are created in the Thumbs\Music\Albums folder, then the coverart appears correctly in the My Lyrics screen.

However, if I unselect that option ("Use folder.jpg to create thumbs") so that thumbs are NOT created (the Thumbs\Music\Albums folder is empty), then the coverart does not appear, even though I have a folder.jpg file in every album folder.

It looks like the code in the "Now Playing" section is always expecting to find the coverart in the Thumbs\Music\Albums folder, even if it already exists in the album's own folder.

I believe that this is closely related to the bug (Mantis 1000) that I listed above.
