This is not a bug, anyway it's something annoying.
When I scrobble, very often Christmas appears. I mean that even in August very often the most scrobbled tag is Christmas (of course for tracks in my library, not last.fm radio).
I think this came beacuse I have 100 christmas songs played by famous singers (The Ronnettes, Nat King Cole etc etc). So it's very easy that, for example, I start with "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis (tagged oldies) -> "Be my Baby" by Ronnettes (Tagged Oldies and Phil Spector) -> "Rudolf the Red Nosed Raindeer" by Bob B. Soxx & the Blue Jeans (Tagged Phil Spector and Christmas) -> and then I fall into Christmas carols.
Another chain could be
"A kind of Blue" by Miles Davies tagged Jazz -> "Guys And Dolls" by Frank Sinatra tagged Jazz and Rat Pack -> "Sway" by Dean Martin tagged Rat Pack and Lounge -> "The Christmas Song" by Nat King cole tagged Lounge and Christmas -> and here comes Christmas again.
Christmas songs tags are always tagged as Christmas while other tags are more distributed, if you know what I mean). It's very easy to fall in this pit.
My suggestion is to add the possibility of avoiding scrobbling on certain tag.
