Hi guys and gals, new to the forums - has there been any discussion on moving the streaming internet radio portion of "My Radio" to "My Music"?
To me it seems more logical to have shoutcast and mms support within "My Music" and then the remaining elements of "My Radio" (FM and Digital Radio) can be moved to the new TV server. The side-effect of this is that "My Radio" would become deprecated.
Ideally, I could have a folder in my music directory called "Streams" and I could browse to that using "My Music" and listen to streaming radio that way.
The big upside of doing this, is that net radio would benefit from all the great work that is going on at the moment in the new music engine - specifically, visualisations and "playing now" features.
I'd probably look at doing this myself, but my C# is pretty rusty - so just putting the idea out there and wondering whether there is any movement in this direction already?
