Hi,

in my Music , shares viev, icons MP reacts wrong when i select an icon by remote or keyboard input (selecting by letter like "B" or "Y"):

In this case there are 63 icons (shares). When the focus is on an icon beginning with "A", like "Accept" and i press the "9" on the keyboard 3 times for selecting an "Y" (Yngwie Malmsteen) the focus jumps to "X".
When "Y " is in the focus and i press the "2" two times for selecting a "B" (Battlelore), the focus jumps to "A".

When i use the remote (medion X10), the reaction is a litte bit different.
Focus on "Accept", i press the "9" 3 times for selecting "Y", MP jumps to "WX" .
Focus on "Yngwie Malmsteen" i press the "2" 2 times for selecting "B" MP jumps to "AA".

It seems that this reaction happens, when MP ist searching for the letters longer than an internal timer is running, because the selection of "B" or "M" makes no problems when the focus is on "Accept".

so this happens with both the keyboard and the x10 remote? I can not replicate this at all with an MCE remote or a keyboard. No matter what is highlighted pressing 2 twice takes me to "B" If I press it too fast it sometimes does not recognise the keypress (gets treated as a duplicate). If you use default skin it displays what letter it will jump to with { } on top of the list.

i have jut made a test with another computer. It's a notebook also wth WinXP SP3. There it works fine and diplays always the right letter (as you described). But my other Sytem works wrong.

Before i wrote this article i made a further test and my system reacts as i described.
