My partner and I have been working with this for a day or so. What we are trying to create is an application that starts 2 streams from the tuner cards on the server and displays them using VLC player. We current have the app starting and displaying 1 stream.

Need help with:

1. If I stop the stream in an application it appears on the server to have stopped but I can not reconnect until the service is restarted.

2. Is it possible to start 2 streams from within 1 application?

3. Have lloked at the tvplugin..could someone point me to direct code on changing the channel on a specific card in the server.

4. Is it in someway possible to either set the size of the temporary stream file (lower, like 1 meg instead of 250) or is there a way that when the stream is running to connect to it at the end of the temp file so everything is not behind?

Is there a manual way to start more than one stream at a time? I only seam to be able to start one from the server.
