My Radio : All tuners are busy (1 Viewer)

When I start MP I get the following message : My Radio, all tuners are busy. I only use Internett radio and I do not have a tuner.

Hi,

strange behaviour.

Please start Configure and take a look into Radio->Stations. Uncheck all checkboxes which are in front of the stations. Run MP and see if the message still occurs on startup. Then try entering My Radio and try to start a stream. Does this work?

I had one channel checked. When I unchecked it, everything works great.

I have another thing that is bugging me. As I said I do not have a tuner card, but I still loke to have the TV guide. Everytime I go into TV I get a message "No tuner". I KNOW THAT !!!! and everybody else will know if they have installed a tuner or not. Is this message really necesary ?

Hi,

hmm. I fear this cannot be removed without doing some coding. There were already some request directing into this, but I do not know what the status is.

What might help:
- goto your MP directory /Team Media Portal/MediaPortal/
- open MediaPortal.xml
- search for <section name="mytv">
- change / set following entries:
<entry name="autoturnontv">no</entry>
<entry name="tvon">no</entry>
<entry name="timeshifting">no</entry>

Changing "<entry>yes</entry>" to "<entry>no</entry>" solved the problem.

Perhaps the TVguide should have an access point on the main screen, which does not involve the TV. I use the MyKeys shortcut frequently for the TVGuide.
