My TV is jumping and spluttering (1 Viewer)

If I watch a video file that is streamed across the network the playback is fine. But My TV jumps and splutters when watching it live, so I tried recording a little and the recording was the same.

Some more info I have just installed progDVB the same happens, maybe not quite as bad but its still stuttering

Apologies for the brief reply, but it'll likely either be your signal quality or your video drivers.

Can you record the show the the HDD, move it to another computer and play it back from there without an issue?

Try and isolate the issue by eliminating things that could cause problems, one by one.
