After updating to CVS mediaportal-cvs-01-11-2006--01-04 My Tv didn't work.
When entering configuration i get two error messages: "Failed to load previously configured capture cards. You will need to reconfigure your capture devises." When entering capture card setup, the capture cards field is emty. When pressing Add I get this massage: "Failed to create graph for capture device." Same problem on the latest CVS.

Tv card configuration problem

I got a similar problem. When entering configuration i get two error messages: "Failed to load previously configured capture cards. You will need to reconfigure your capture devises." When entering capture card setup, the capture cards field only show Pinnacle 310i DVB-T Digital.
I got a Skystar 2 and a Pinnacle 310i and with latest cvs i cannot configure the Skystar 2 or the Pinnacle 310i for analog channels.

I got this when I went from from a december CVS build to 0.2.0.0.RC2.

Just deleted and re-created the card, and everything was fine.

When I try to add my PVR-150 card to the capture device list configuration hangs. If I start config, and saves the configuration without doing anything else, then restart config, I get no error messages. But when I try to add my capture card I get this message:
"Failed to create graph for capture device."

I downloaded the latest CVS - 01-13-2006--01-03.rar and now i have the option to add the Skystar 2 and work well. But my tv card for viewing cable tv in Portugal is a Pinnacle 310i and now when i add this card only shows a Pinnacle PCTV 310i BDA Digital Capture (Pinnacle 310i TNT). In Portugal we still not have DVB-T and i need suport for analog signal.

I use MediaPortal since version 0.1.2.0 and is the best HTPC program ever made. Keep the good work :)

In the recent CVS support was removed for software TV cards, which I guess yours is as most hybrids have only basic analog support.
Your only option here is to stick with an earlier CVS, unfortunately.

That sucks and I understand how you must be feeling (I originally bought an Aver 771 becasue they were supposed to be bringing out BDA drivers). Is it possible to return it and say it was an incorrect gift or something? Just say that someone got you the wrong model and you want to exchange it for a "real" hardware card.

    Can't hurt to try...
