Dumb question - but have you read and followed the install instructions? Ensure you copy all required files in place including the language folder.

I had this issue when I installed the MPI plugin version which I downloaded from the MP website.
On closer inspection this version is only version 1.2
I uninstalled the plugin, downloaded the manual install version (Version 2.x.x) and installed and all works fine.
