My Video: imdb request sends file extension in request (1 Viewer)

when looking up video meta data in imdb from within MP, it alwqays sends the file extension (mkv, avi etc) within the request, resulting in wrong or no results. Note: The option "dont show file extension..." in CONFIGURATION.EXE->GENERAL is disabled.

How to reproduce:
Just look up any new movie from within MP.
