Hi there!
My problem is that mediaportal freezes whenever I'm in the "My videos" menu and cpu load goes to 100%. I can still use mediaportal but extremle slow. When i then start a video averything works fine. But when reentering the video menu it freezes again. I've read several post on similar problems but they all seem to have to do with a certain ATI video adapter which I unfortunatly don't have. Tried to reinstall mediaportal, upgrading to 0.2.3.0 (had 0.2.2.0 to begin with) but the same thing happens. This problem started when removed my videoadapter (nvidia mx400) and started running with the onboard adapter. It can obviously handle the movies, they work fine in mediaplayer and vlc. So mediaportal doesn't hang or failes, just become very very slow. Help plz!!

Perhaps should say that everything works fine when i put my old videoadapter back, but again, video playback works fine so the onboard should have enough power. Is there something my onboard videoadapter must support to run the GUI without problem? I don't want to use the graphic card becouse i'm building an extreme low htpc case and there just not roome for a lowprofile GPU.

I have the same problem and no solution found yet... :(
But by me it happens only with .MKV movies. The .AVI ones (different folder) works perfectly (fast). But if I go in the folder with .MKV files then it becomes VERY slow...
