Synopsis::

MP Crashes when using My videoeditor.

1: Start MP
2: Enter My videoeditor
3: Select cut files
4: after editing MP just hangs for a while then crashes.
I think the message is HWC error, sorry for the inconvenience. Something like that.

This occurs almost everytime, but at different places in the movies.

Best regards
Hair

More explicit information

This might have been the worst description ever of a problem.

I'm trying to remove commercials from recorded programs.

Please split up step 4 to the following:
a) Make the first selection to the cut-list.
b) Start the second and fast forward to the next commercial. The program hangs at random places.
It has not reached the next commercial.
c) When trying to get in touch with MP again (with escape), it crashes. Remote does no longer work.

This is true for programs at aprox. 1.5 GB or 1.5 hours
This is NOT true for recordings at aprox. 600MB or 35 minutes!

After several crashes I've lost the file listing in the editor, the other menues are as they should. I've made an update of MP without getting the file listing back (without uninstall or rename of the directory).

I suspect it to be a result of the crashes so I don't send any logfiles.
