My Weather (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I have successfully added some cities to "My Weather" and want to add some animated satellite images for each of my four cities (Hong Kong, London, Dumblane & Toronto).

I notice that when I click the images button on the GUI there is a nice animated image of Europe already in there. I didn't add it so can only conclude that it was part of the installation.

I'd like to try to use the same site that is featured on the top of the image to get the satellite images for my other cities, but I can't read the URL that is on top of the image. It looks like wci.com but that doesn't seem to be anything to do with weather.

I have looked in the plugin for weather but there is no URL link for this image so I can only conclude that it was added in my the plugin author.

I have not been able to find suitable frequently updated satellite information on the Weather Channel so am now at a loss.

I read that I can't use these as they are gifs and MP needs pngs?

Something else I notice that maybe a bug but when I click on the image button and the default satellite image of Europe is loading the MP appears to freeze in that the second counter in the clock stops.

After about 15 seconds the image appears and the clock corrects itself

I have just tried setting up the Asia map from this site & it is working in MP.
The only problem I have is the freezing is still occuring whilst the map is downloading. I don't see the small spinning circle either that tells me the MP is downloading like when the weather is downloading.

Do you use Version 1.01a or above?

Hello rtv I use v1.0.2 which I think is the latest stable release.

Hello rtv I use v1.0.2 which I think is the latest stable release.
