[MyAlarm] Crashes with a framework error & Not playing more then 1 sec (1 Viewer)

hi all i am having problems with myalarm, when ever i enable it i get this message...

if i disable it, then all mediaportal works perfect.

i am running new install of RC3 with no SVN.

is there any solution to this?

Did a short test with it here & i don't get that message, can you attach your mediaportal.log when that one occurs to your post?

hello , thank you for trying to help me.

the problem is that no log file is created as mediaportal does not crashes. it shows that message and...
if i press "continuar" the error message closes and can continue to use mediaportal but the message will appear few seconds later
if i press "salir" (exit) it will close mediaportal without any log file created.

this is the whole text i get in the error message, i think the last part explains the problem but i dont know how to fix it. (i can translate it to english if you want)

MediaPortal always create logs, since you have vista they are in C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Log.

Attach that mediaportal.log after a error like this to your post

ok sorry, i thought i had seen the log files in another place in previous version.

here you have it.

i dont think is very usefull cause my impresion is that mediaportal stays at the back working correctly but the error message just keeps appearing on top when i press continue, if i press exit it just mediaportal just closes

Nah log doesn't show anything, have you set the log level from "debug" to "normal" in Mp Configuration -> General?

Usually all exceptions get logged to mediaportal.log(or was this from a run without that error)?

Was this a clean install of RC3 to a folder without any old files left(uninstaller leaves all user modified files in the folder), if not uninstall & rename MediaPortal folder to something else(also the one in C.\Users\etc) & then install new?

Have scheduled some tests here so will check it a bit further.

i have just desactivated myalarm and when going into tvseries mediaportal crashed.

with the new version i had yet no crashes so i dont think is tvseries but myalarm or anything related that is messing everything up.
