MyAlarm plugin for waking up with TV (1 Viewer)

Hi fans!!

I'm setting up a whole htpc setup for my appartment which needs to be accomplished by Mediaportal. As server I use a Mac mini in my living room and a EEEBOX in my bedroom. The idea is if the plugin MyAlarm supports the use as TV for waking up. The scenario would be the following:

1) Go to bed and watch 10 minutes of Satellite tv on the client.

2) Automatically MP shuts down and puts Windows XP in standby mode

3) At a certain hour in the morning XP+MP starts up and a specific channel is shown of the television (for example breakfast news).

Did somebody configure MP in a way the above scenario is working?

Let me know. I think it's better then using an ordinary alarm clock

Hi all,

I see nobody answered but still hope there persons who use Mediaportal not only as a DVR but also for waking up using different devices like tv, radio or music. So my question is only to know how can I start Windows with Mediaportal at a certain time and make it start automatically TV or radio. Do I need to record a macro first for that?
